Am I?

A person who pressures someone. Who goes through life, making other people do what I want.

I think of it now, and its just those little things that would be peer pressuring. I wonder if the people I pressure do the same to others. I know for a fact that I'm not one of those people who bully others

I mainly do it as a joke, but I JUST realized that it could potentially hurt someone. Maybe I never thought of how others feel when their pressured, If I put myself in their shoes I would say I don't like it. SO to anyone I've ever pressure i apologize. :)

Soooo...

Today I was completely pressured to ditch class. I TOTALLY ditched too.. which was a mistake because now I have 10 absences, now I might have to appeal my grade. SUCKS!!!

This goes to show that no one is perfect.. I guess sometimes people make mistakes, but then you learn from them. And then you think to yourself, why did I listen to them. Am I one of those people that do whatever people tell me?

NO, I can tell myself when its a wrong decision or not. I guess that choice was choosen because I was pressured.

NOT ANYMORE!

GOOD pressure?

So someone just asked me "is it possible to be under a 'good' pressure?" Well.. I do believe it is. Like when your parents have expectation for you and it puts you under pressure. but its a good pressure because they know the how far you can actually go. Or like when you have a college looking at you, you generally would be under a certain amount of pressure just to get good grades or to do exceptionally well in sports. I honestly think that when people are watching you, you tend to do better then when no one is around.

When i had said yes she said "to bad those 'good pressures' don't happen very often." Well that is not particularly true, it really depends on YOU. and how much you push yourself to do well in school, or anything else for that matter.

Some pressures are good and some pressures are bad, it doesn't take a genius to realize it. peer pressure is bad.... WEEEEEEELLLLLLL besides the ones that have purposeful meanings. but still pressure= BAD:)

Common SENSE..

It's amazing how to this day the NOT so SMART(lazy) students get the 'nerds' to do their homework/classwork. This guy totally just convinced this other guy to do his classwork, he said and i quote "come on you'll be one of the 'cool' kids." so the kid did the work. I'm not to sure if you can call that peer pressure but its pressure of a sort. I bet that kid felt obligated to 'help' that other guy with his work. I mean it's COMMON SENSE to say no and keep working, but hey whatever floats his boat.

I personally think your considered 'cool' when your with your friends and when your comfortable with being who you are and NOT someone your trying to be.

Anyway who does that anymore, it's called the INTERNET, just stating the obvious.

The act of BULLYING

Yesterday I saw the most RIDICULOUS thing happen. I was walking around at lunch and I saw this guy and his three friends. They were pushing him around like he was a toy and they kept calling him a sissy. I mean not that I was trying to ease drop or anything but they were telling him to go and push some guy who was smaller then them. I almost wanted to say have you never heard the phrase pick on someone your own size! and I was thinking to myself "is this child even thinking!"

Anyway, this is exactly what I mean by pure pressure and "wrong crowd". This guy ACTUALLY went and picked on this littler guy, and the only reason he did it was probably because he didn't want to seem like a sissy. And his so called friends have no right to push him around. If he lets them push him to do things like that then its a matter of time before things get worse, and god knows what he will do next. Just saying...

Students tend to come to school to feel safe but when people like that push them around they begin to feel threatened.- my opinion
I could go on but then I would get mad.
Hmmmm... Sometimes I wish teenagers weren't so impulsive(although I am one) I just think it's not right for him to bully some kid. Horrible kids these days;)
